Role: Marketing and Digital Media Manager

Hartford Flavor Company produces craft organic spirits and is a woman-owned company. Hartford Flavor offers a variety of product lines and services to both B2B & B2Cs.

The Marketing and Digital Media Manager is a senior management role at Hartford Flavor Company. My general duties consist of communication and creative direction for all subsidiaries including Wild Moon Liqueurs, Wild Moon Botanics, Hartford Flavor Organic Vodkas, and HFC Hand Sanitizer. Behind the creative direction, I am also responsible for planning and executing content, including photography, graphic design (for print and digital), as well as video art direction. These duties also follow into post-production edits and scheduling of content for our various digital marketing channels, including the company website.

Additionally, I drive big picture strategy by strengthening existing product lines in the market as well as supporting new concepts. I work directly with the CEO and founder to manage interdisciplinary teams.

Examples of successful strategies:

-Started IG pages ( @hartfordflavor and @wildmoonliqueurs ) and over the years have spent a significant amount of time creating quality content to share with fans/ followers. Instagram has been a key digital marketing tool, and an important communication channel. Instagram has led to increases in B2B and B2C sales and partnerships.

-To help grow brand awareness in the early days of my role, I spearheaded themed public and private events. Events offered a casual atmosphere in the distillery, and with reoccurring weekly events, the bar and spirit sales category collected an extra $700 - $1,000 per week. Now in 2022, private events can capture up to $3,000.

-Created an e-commerce extension of the company website, making it even easier for consumers to directly purchase

-Once the pandemic hit, staff layoffs were inevitable. To counter, I formulated, branded, and launched hand sanitizer in 4 days. With a supportive team behind me, we put the spirit business on hold. We made a strong pivot to solely produce, sell and donate hand sanitizer. Hand Sanitizer revenue has exceeded more than $100,000 to date.

As founder of Hartford Flavor’s Marketing Department, this role allowed me to enhance my graphic and content creation skills. I was able to gain valuable management experience as a department head, leading part-time assistants throughout the duration of my service. I’ve worn many hats at Hartford Flavor, and often at the same time. This unique experience has been invaluable to my professional advancement.

Role Responsibiliteis:

  • Creation and execution of full-funnel campaigns
